Spotify | Conceptual UI/UX Redesign

Spotify is one of the world’s leading music platforms, but this conceptual redesign reimagined how its interface could deepen the emotional connection between users and their listening experience. The project explored mood-driven navigation, positioning music as an intuitive extension of how people feel in the moment.

A color-coded system was developed to categorise tracks by emotion (from relaxation to optimism and nostalgia) allowing users to filter and discover music aligned with their mood. Navigation was streamlined with a redesigned control bar, while playlist layouts were reworked to include artist insights, social media links, and a “private section” mode for discreet listening without influencing recommendations.
