Radio EEN @ COP27
As the lead creative, I developed the visual identity and spatial design for ZERO, a collaborative project that merged a 24-hour live radio broadcast with an innovative mobile and collapsible listening space, created for COP27—the United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. COP27 brought together over 35,000 delegates from 190+ countries, including world leaders, policymakers, and climate activists, to drive urgent action on the climate crisis.
In partnership with Ain Shams University and Central Saint Martins, the project explored how public numeracy and storytelling can shape climate discourse. Through a series of creative radio segments, the broadcast blended languages, soundscapes, and environmental themes, making complex climate data more accessible. Designed to engage diverse audiences, including London students and Middle Eastern diaspora communities, the project highlighted dialogue on climate justice, sustainability, and collective action.
I was responsible for the branding, exhibition graphics, sound design and visual storytelling, ensuring that the mobile, collapsible listening space reflected the project’s ethos—versatile, transportable, and built for interaction. The installation hosted over 500 live listeners, with the broadcast reaching thousands worldwide.
